On one of our recent expotitions we found ourselves at Coleridge Cottage, one time home of poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and the place he wrote some of his most famous poems including The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and Kubla Khan.
It is a beautiful cottage with rooms that have been recreated as if Coleridge and his family had just stepped out. And displays of beautiful books and interesting memorabilia.
