Welcome Autumn

Last weeks awesomeness has rather carried over, we’ve had such an amazing weekend and first few days of the week that I just have to share.

On Saturday we met the very lovely Jen from My Paper Cut Heart and very happily came home with a couple of extra anniversary presents to ourselves …

Her work is amazing and you really should go check out her folksy shop or stop and say ‘Hi’ on facebook.

Sunday we spent at Abergavenny Food Festival, and as with every food festival resulted in us coming home with A LOT of cheese! There is some pretty delicious cheese being produced here in Wales and I promise that very soon I will share with you our favourites so far.

Monday was the two year anniversary of Chris finding the courage to kiss me! I am very scary you know! :p My lovely romantic poet surprised me with a fancy picnic down on our private (if you don’t count the sheep) riverbank.

Yesterday the weather continued to be so spectacular that we just had to play hookie and went exploring and for another lovely picnic.

Today we had to get some work done (after the 5 hour walk yesterday we’re all a little too tired for adventures) and Chris created this beautiful piece for me.

Now this one is all mine, but if you would like something similar, then just leave a comment or send us an email.

These are just the highlights (or what I have pictures of), there’s also been a kingfisher, a very handsome fox, batty bats, food festivals, shopping, more presents and romance. I hope your week is proving to be as lovely.
