Tea anyone?

I don’t know about you but I find a nice cup of tea can solve many problems, and if you have a side of cookies, well what can’t be tackled.

We found these rubber wood boards (9.5 by 6.5 inches and just under half an inch deep) that were oddly being sold as chopping boards, now I think for chopping boards they are a little on the small size, but for giant coasters they are perfect. We were only able to find 36 of these boards and as each one is hand-scribed you will have a unique accessory for your afternoon tea, or morning coffee!

This is another of our joint design projects. I came up with the design from a sakura tree and kanji symbol for Tea that Chris had drawn, and he then turned it into this beautiful finished piece. This is one of my favourites of Chris’ creations, but he tells me that I can’t keep everything so it needs to find a new home. Also he has already made my own special giant coaster.

I always have a glass of water and a cup of coffee or tea on my desk, and these giant coasters fit both! Protecting the furniture and looking pretty – they are dual purpose! 🙂

If you would like one of your very own, we have the above “Tea” design already to go, or you can talk to us about having your very own personal design scorched. They are £20 each plus P&P and are available in our etsy shop, or if you drop us a line we can have a chat about what you would like.
